DIY Confetti Bowl Tutorial from V Juliet here. This is kind of like regular paper mache, but I think more fun as you aren’t laying strip after strip of paper covered in paste. I have a question in about how many layers were actually done to make this bowl. Will edit the post if I get an answer.
DIY Tree Branch Jewelry Display Tutorial from Iconically Jenna here. I’m posting this on my kids’ crafts blog because Jenna is only 13 and made this DIY necklace display. This works for lots of ages with varying degrees of grownup help (even little kids can help find sticks/branches and paint). All you do is lift up the stick and hang your necklaces.
DIY Baby Food Lego Head Pencil Holder Tutorial from Handmade Charlotte here. *My only concern is that it is painted from the inside and the pencils may scratch off the paint.
DIY Lunchbox Bookends from Crafty Little Gnome here. Good idea, plus she is using the lunchboxes as storage. You could get lunchboxes that matched whatever the child or grownup likes or liked as when they were younger – Barbie, Barney, Transformers, Batman, Star Wars, etc… off of Ebay.
